President Tsai Ing-wen on July 21, 2019 visited the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Colorado. NCAR Earth Observing Laboratory will send a weather radar to Hsinchu’s Nanliao area next year as part of bilateral cooperation at forecasting extreme rainfall in Taiwan.
