5/19 西南氣流實驗『作業指揮中心』最新消息 （2008/5/19 0655UTC）
第一次西南氣流實驗的密集觀測已經在五月十九日下午兩點（0600UTC May 19, 2008）展開。IOP任務科學家為WEN CHAU LEE博士，科學目標為梅雨鋒面動力以及地形降雨之上游環境。密集觀測項目包括北船，南船一天四次海上探空。馬公，屏東，六龜一天八次探空。板橋，花蓮，東沙，綠島，台中，恆春地基探空站一天四次。沒有機載探空（DROPSONDE）。雷達部分SPOL，TEAM，日本XDOP，以及SUPERSITE都參與密集觀測。今天晚上十點在OCC有IOP UPDATE MEETING。機載探空預定在五月二十一日（星期三）早上五點飛行，飛行計畫為FLIGHT PATTERN A。是否為新的IOP還是IOP1的延伸，預定在明天五月二十日早上SCIENCE MEETING中決定。

IOP 1 started on 0200UTC May 19, 2008, Mission Scientist is Dr. Wenchau Lee (NCAR). Scientific Objectives of this mission are Meiyu front dynamics and upstream conditions. The items of intensive observations include: 8 sondes per day for Magong, Pingtung, and Liou-Guei; 4 sondes per day for Banciao, Hwalien, Lyudao, Dongsha, Taichung, and Hengchung. N-and S-ships are available for IOP. But no dropsonde. The radar components include SPOL, TEAM, Japan XDOP, and supersite instrumentations. There will be an IOP Update Meeting at OCC 10pm tonight. SPGs are welcome to attend the meeting. Astra is putting on the alert and the flight is requested for 2100UTC May 20,2008 using flight pattern A. Final decision will be made on May 20 10am Science Meeting.
