On May 14, the north and south ships departed at 11:00 and 15:00, respectively, to start the shipsonde on May 15. The shipsondes will be launched 4 times per day.

The land-based rawinsondes, a total of 9, will be launched at 08:00 local time (00UTC) on May 15.

During Special Observation Period (SOP), from May 15 to June 25, these land-based soundings will be 4 times per day.

During Intensive Observation Period (IOP), and Extensive Observation Period (EOP), these land-based soundings will be 8 times per day.
