OPERATIONS SUMMARY:
The tropical storm induce the southwest flow with dry aie at the upper level and relative moisture at the lower level, create a few scattering showers or thunderstorm occur at the northern , central and southern Taiwan mountain area.

The model forecast shows the low pressure associated the tropical storm will move northeastward and its related the southwest flow will affect the southern Taiwan area From June 26 to June 27. After June 28, the sub-tropical high will intensify and move westward, weather will change afternoon showers or thunderstorm pattern. As the sub-tropical high ridge line and dry air dominate the Taiwan area from July 1 to June 3, the atmosphere will change more stable.

IOP-9 will end at 12Z 26 June.

A proposed dropsonde flight mission at 0930-1200LST 26 June had canceled (plan E).

The summary report of the SoWMEX/TIMREX meeting will be held on 0900 LST 27 June at the Operation command Center(OCC).
